My husband wanted me to wear a 62- carat diamond necklace to lunch with my girlfriends!

Years ago my hubby wanted me to wear this 62+ carat diamond necklace to lunch with my girlfriends! I thought my friends would think I was a show off, wanting to attract attention to myself. The necklace has long been gone, I regret caring too much what people might think of me, things come, things go, and I truly believe no one really “owns” anything; we are just caretakers for a time.

I love period movies: Horseman on the Roof, Wuthering Heights, The Woodlanders, Tess of the d’Urbervilles, Bleak house, and John Adams. My favorite actress is Juliette Binoche, in the movie Chocolat. I know it’s just a movie but, I feel if people would act that kind the world would be a better place to live. I am on a constant mission to discover treasures; I love one-of-a-kind items, no one else has. Because I buy too much, occasionally I sell my items; Vintage prom, purses, antiques and incredible Edwardian jewelry. Originally I started this blog for myself, my little space to keep all my research notes, price realized and my photo creations. It seems there is more to this blog now, hopefully you can feel my love for the past. Have a lovely day! Love
