My mom’s prom dress was a taffeta & tulle Strapless 1950’s stunner. My dad was dressed in a black tuxedo, he whisked her away to the senior prom in his 55 Chevy. I’m sure there was dancing and laughing and some kissing! The picture of them so happy has always stayed with me. This is my daughter Juliette, she’s wearing a robin egg blue tulle original. I mostly collect these wonderful dresses for my photography but occasionally I sell them on OLA.com. Every dress is unique, the fading, the flowers, velvet sashes, ruffles and cinched waists. Decorating with vintage prom is the new rage, because who doesn’t want one of these dresses hanging in their boudoir.
